The department organizes various types of imaging tests as well as various types of examinations. Most of the tests take place during normal working hours, although the Imaging section has several on-call releases.

In Patients

The ward area for in patients housed in the 1st, 2nd floors have been created keeping maximum patient comfort in mind. The following be categories are available and will be allotted depending on your choice or availability or entitlement in the case of patients covered under Insurance schemes-Central Govt (RSBY) & State Govt (Swasthya Sathi) or corporate agreements.

Out Patients

Bhagwangola Medical Institute OPD housed on the ground floor of the hospital. There are three well equipped modern OPD's. One OPD is fixed for RMO and another two are for Specialists shared on different day & time by General Medicine, General Surgery Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Pediatri, Psychiatry, Skin & STD,Cardiology, Orthopedic, Ophthalmology has a separate OPS space.

Our district is one of the most medically underserved areas of the country. The population of Murshidabad district is about 7 million in which above 80% people live in rural area where 2% doctors look after them .In Bhagwangola there are more than 2 lakh people out of them 56% lives below poverty line . There is a 40 bedded Block hospital and two primary health centre in our area, we are trying sincerely to improve the health facilities along with the Govt.

Our mission is to provide comprehensive Primary and Secondary healthcare in medically underserviced areas, mainly the poorer section, using a rational, technology based standardised plat form, Keeping the Govt. Institutes as Mother Institute we want to co-operate & work for the society.
